gen_udp looses datagrams

Does tcpdump (on the receiving machine) show you that the packet
definitely got there? 

I've been using quite a bit of UDP (for VOIP), and I haven't noticed
any missing packets at all. That doesn't, of course, mean that there
aren't missing packets. What's your platform (I run my stuff on
solaris and linux using erlang R6B, the commercial version)?
