<div><div dir="auto">I had a quick look at Distel. It communicates with an erlang node using the erlang distribution.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">The only thing that has been changed regarding this between rc2 and now is term_to_binary(). Erlang distribution still requires utf8 atom support as of OTP-20.0.
