<div dir="ltr">I believe those C parts can be taken out. Last time I looked (version 1.98) C was used to interface PAM authentication and for sendfile. As I recall both can be disabled during the build process. I have not really used the official build process though, so I'm not sure anymore where/how.<div><br></div><div>Regards,</div><div>Ferenc</div></div><div class="gmail_extra"><br><div class="gmail_quote">On 10 March 2016 at 08:32, Vlad Dumitrescu <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:vladdu55@gmail.com" target="_blank">vladdu55@gmail.com</a>></span> wrote:<br><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex"><div dir="ltr">I've stumbled on a possible issue with yaws: since it contains C code, it's probably a bit difficult to distribute in binary form, right? <div><br></div><div>best regards,</div><div>Vlad</div><div><br></div></div><div class="HOEnZb"><div class="h5"><div class="gmail_extra"><br><div class="gmail_quote">On Thu, Mar 10, 2016 at 3:11 AM, zxq9 <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:zxq9@zxq9.com" target="_blank">zxq9@zxq9.com</a>></span> wrote:<br><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex">On Wednesday 09 March 2016 08:03:12 Vlad Dumitrescu wrote:<br>

YAWS is one of the most totally un-advertised-yet-actually-awesome pieces<br>
of software I've ever encountered. It is in deep stealth mode as far as<br>
most of the world is concerned, despite being exactly what a lot of folks<br>
are looking for.<br>
<br>
Anywhere but Erlang I would find this very strange.<br>
