<div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">We have a configuration with N local nodes, and a handful of remote nodes, where connectivity to remote nodes is done over Internet, and would like only those connections to use SSL.</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">While the <a href="http://www.erlang.org/doc/apps/ssl/ssl_distribution.html" style="font-family:arial">http://www.erlang.org/doc/apps/ssl/ssl_distribution.html</a> chapter describes in detail how to run a node with SSL support, but there's doesn't seem to be any documentation of if it's possible to give hints to a given node to use transport alternative to the one used by current node at startup when connecting to given nodes.</div>
<div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">If this is not supported, I would opt for this feature request as this seems to be a very general case when running node configurations spanning multiple clusters.</div>
