<div dir="ltr">When making Slackware packages, I would recommend using Checkinstall...<br><br><a href="http://asic-linux.com.mx/~izto/checkinstall/">http://asic-linux.com.mx/~izto/checkinstall/</a><br><br>You need to read the instructions for it, but it's pretty straight forward.  Basically, run "configure" and "make" and substitute "make install" with "checkinstall."  It will ask you a few questions to set up the package and that's it.  I've used it dozens of times and it works like a charm...<br>
