How to read all traffic received on one network interface using Erlang

Hi,

I got {error,eisdir} when attempting to read fifo because I was on OTP/19
erts-8.2.1

I just finished to migrate to OTP/23 erts-11.0 right now and reading fifo
is WORKING perfectly using file:open as indicated by Lukasz.

A Bonus for me, open_port is also still available in OTP/23
