[erlang-questions] Recommendations re beam files [SOLVED]

Thanks everyone for your help with this.  The solution was to be found 
in one of Joe's posts:

Simplifying it for my needs (running the Linux subsystem in Windows 10), 
it consists of making a file .erlang in my home directory comprising one 
line:

code:add_patha("/home/das/Development/erlang/library/beams").

(It verges on magic!)
