[erlang-questions] filename extension for erlang terms files

Hi

Is there a generally agreed filename extension for files that contain erlang terms, which are read in via file:consult/1?

The reason for asking is so that they are recognized and syntax-highlighted correctly by text editors such as vim and emacs.
