[erlang-questions] gen_tcp send non-blocking in erlang?

TCP doesn't so how can Erlang ?

I was quite shocked to find that a colleague of mine who has worked in
mobile comms for years thought that TCP write()/send() returned when data
was delivered rather than queued.
