Hello,
This is one of those Mickey-the-Dunce questions that no doubt everyone knows the answer except yours truly.
But, I'd like to load LeoFS on a spare server. Following the instructions here:
http://leo-project.net/leofs/docs/getting_started.html
I set out to do so.
libatomic_ops-7.2d compiled fine, as did otp_src_R16B03-1. But the last step of LeoFS failed:
==> leo_mcerl (compile)
make[1]: Entering directory `/home/lloyd/libatomic_ops-7.2/otp_src_R16B03-1/leofs/deps/leo_mcerl/c_src/libcutil/build'
make[1]: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/lloyd/libatomic_ops-7.2/otp_src_R16B03-1/leofs/deps/leo_mcerl/c_src/libcutil/build'
ERROR: Command [compile] failed!
make: *** [compile] Error 1
I checked Google for Debian + libcutil, but got this:
Did you mean: Debian + libcurl
Then, confused somewhat by the fact that LeoFS docs doesn't specify directories, it occurred to me that I had been compiling these three packages one atop the other:
lloyd@REDACTED:~/libatomic_ops-7.2/otp_src_R16B03-1/leofs$
Maybe that's the problem. So I deleted all work, and started over, but compiling each package at my home root directory:
lloyd@REDACTED:~/
Now I got a different error:
lloyd@REDACTED:~/leofs$ make && make release
/usr/bin/env: escript: No such file or directory
make: *** [deps] Error 127
So now I'm wondering:
1) Which approach is correct--- compile one atop the other or each from home root?
2) Am I doing something else wrong?
3) Or are there some lapses in the LeoFS docs?
Many thanks,
LRP
