[erlang-questions] Install Erlang on Solaris11

Hi All,
         I am trying to install Erlang on Solaris11 and i am getting the
below error when i run 'sudo gmake install'


test -d /usr/local/bin || /usr/bin/ginstall -c -d /usr/local/bin
/usr/bin/ginstall -c -d /usr/local/lib/erlang
/usr/bin/ginstall: cannot change permissions of `/usr/local/lib/erlang': No
such file or directory
gmake: *** [install.dirs] Error 1
bash-4.1#

I followed the steps in this post

but it did not help

Can you let me know what could be the issue ??
