[erlang-questions] Module:Function(SessionID, Env, Input)-> _

Hi friends I am new to erlang.. please help.. 
How erlang handles above variables like SessionID, Env and Input in function Module:Function(SessionID, Env, Input)-> _ .
While making call from httpd, we pass only Input values. How does it works. What is flow from where does it pick Env and SessionID.
