[erlang-questions] write access to beam.smp (SELinux policy)

Hello,

I'm new to this list, so please excuse me if this topic was already
discussed.

I'm writing a SELinux policy for an Erlang application and I noticed that
the Erlang VM needs write rights on beam.smp.
Is this normal behavior? If yes, can it be bypassed?
