Thanks Max!

I agree completely. I have no intentions of dropping comet and ajax support
in any kind of short time frame, after all, I still plan on supporting
non-websocket servers (mochiweb/webmachine/inets/soon elli) for the
foreseeable future without having to tell users "sorry, this feature is
websockets only".

Websockets are planned to be an option, much like Nitrogen's comet
configuration can be toggled between actual-comet and periodic polling.
