[erlang-questions] Turning rebar into a package manager

Joe.

I don't like the idea to store project dependencies outside project tree.

There may be same versions of software downloaded from different
github accounts.

I've worked with Ruby on Rails for several years and looked how
packaging was developed. Now it is just like rebar: packaging inside
project tree, but rebar is better: it doesn't require to pack into
some archive.

So I really consider, that rebar is the best package manager for
erlang right now and it doesn't need any additions.
