Yes, but my approach is that I let the tests work in different
sequences anyway, as I am generating the seed for each run. When
something fails I just recover the seed and replay the test with it.
As I will replay in the same platform it failed, I will get the same
sequence.

I understand your problem is that you want to have the same sequences
in both releases, my approach was to avoid that need more than to
solve your exact problem :)
