Unrelated to the main topic of the thread, but Patrik N from Ericsson 
pushed just today a set of patches to the 'maint' branch on github that 
puts the hipe compiler in bootstrap and will allow it to be compiled 
natively when the system is configured with --enable-native-libs.

This will be part of R15B01.
