[erlang-questions] Why system_flag(scheduler_bind_type) is deprecated?

There are some builds for linux that also come without this +sbt flag. How
can I understand that erlang supports this flag from shell script? If I
pass this +sbt flag to an erlang that doesn't support it, it just fails.



And I mention that using erlang:system_flag/2 call doesn't bring any of
this problems?
