Chris, sub-supervisors can be nested arbitrarily deep, if that's the
structure you need.  The deepest process tree that I could think of, off
the top of my head (aside from the OTP 'kernel' app), is from an old
Ericsson elevators demo/training app.  A screen shot is at:
