[erlang-questions] Caching server

I run up to 500,000 processes in my simulations some time ago.
No problem on Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB RAM.
Currently I am running something like cache server for 10,000 trading
symbols.
10,000 processes are receiving market data, caching them and sending to
other software when it requests data.
No problem at all.
