[erlang-questions] Stand alone Erlang on Windows

I wrote:   Does Erlang on Windows install anything outside of the Program
   Files\erl<version> directory?  That is, could you archive the entire
   Erlang directory structure and package it in a single executable that
   simply unpacked the entire directory structure somewhere and ran
   erl.exe?

For what it’s worth, I tried this on a machine that had never had Erlang
installed, and it seemed to work.  I did not do an exhaustive test, or
anything; I just fired up the Erlang shell and tried a few commands.  Is
there anything in particular that I should have tried that might not have
worked?
