depends on how one evaluates "difficult" but i've run in to issues
with action script's loosey-goosey typing especially when interfacing
with other systems via AMF3. e.g. somebody sends what they think is a
map but action script turns it into an array with 2Gig worth of empty
entries, and we all spend 30 mins trying to figure out why everything
is randomly really freaking slow.
