The feature is called "Parameterized Modules", and it is still unofficial.

There was also a follow-up paper presenting OOP-in-Erlang last year at the EUC.

Is the unofficialness of this feature going official, or does the
vague code-upgrade properties and the hidden-state rewarding
programming making it not as well received?
