[erlang-questions] mnesia memory leak?

I am working with mnesia in my app and after several hours of running it 
seems that my memory usage has gone over 1 gig.  At first I thought this 
was a bug in my code that interfaces with mnesia, but upon looking at my 
tables they are all reasonably small, however, ets:i() reveals
745             mnesia_transient_decision set   5940587 95901642 
mnesia_recover

upon googling around i found that this seems to be a known issue?   What 
is the proper way to deal with this?  I also found the following

i do, and provides easy test code to expose the issue.
