I'm fine with not adhering to the Scheme standard (lack of mutable  
variables). I was thinking of, indeed, re-targeting Termite to the  
Erlang VM. A pipe dream since I'm quite busy but very doable, IMO.

Another option could be re-targeting Alice ML since it has  
concurrency primitives and pattern matching.
