[erlang-questions] Linked-in driver nuances

Do I correctly understand that the best, simplest or least error- 
prone way to proxy GUI objects with a linked-in driver is to have one  
port represent one object?

This would require creating a port per object of course but seems to  
be easier than trying to have one port manage all objects behind the  
scenes.

Am I right?
