[erlang-questions] inet_ssl broken?

Hello,

I have been fiddling with trying to setup inet_ssl via the guide on 
erlang.org, but have had no success. I have tried multiple platforms and 
versions of erlang, all the way to the latest release available. I have 
read on a few places that evidently inet_ssl was broken, but was 
supposed to be fixed by now. Is it possible that it is still broken?
