[erlang-questions] HiPE/+native builds of OTP stuff?

Howdy.  I've asked this question before, but it was buried in the
middle of another message.

Has anyone done testing with HiPE/+native compilation of OTP libraries
such as stdlib or Mnesia or fill-in-the-blank (heh, like 'cprof')?
Are there any reasons why someone should/should not do such a thing?
... {evil grin}  After all, the out-of-the-box OTP builds don't do it,
nor is there a "--hipe-compile-everything" option for the "configure"
script....
