pruning the jungerl?

A question.

Jungerl is indeed dense and chaotic, but 
will there be a time when we can remove at
least the applications that are now part of
OTP?

I'm of course thinking primarily of 
- xmerl
- syntax_tools
- edoc

(We're using ClearCase here at work, and at least
in CC, removing old stuff is simple and straight-
forward, since the directories are also version-
controlled. The old stuff isn't deleted, but you
don't have to see it unless you dig for it.)
