How would you determine the size of the parameter area?

Also, when do you think you guys will get to this? I hear the HiPE  
team is undefunded these days, thus my asking.

Personally, I'm placing a large bet on Erlang and its floating-point  
performance. I would like to use Erlang to build some sort of a  
trading appliance. I found this foray into HiPE and assembler  
encouraging so I'll continue learning and poking around. I might  
tackle the stack alignment eventually, if you don't get to it. Thanks  
for all your help, I wouldn't have done it without you!
