I closed the bug by making the package for version 10.b.5 which was uploaded 
by Will Newton.

But is the bug still there or not? I'm not sure.  I've never really tested the 
thing on a 2.4 kernel.  It occurs to me that I should try that right now on 
my Sarge box.
