That's two positives for Ubuntu, and I've received positive
confirmation for SuSE as well in private email. So Gentoo is
the only distribution where things are known to be broken.

If someone were to write a shell script test to detect a
Gentoo system then I could use that to prevent breaking
Erlang/OTP for Gentoo users on x86.
