Xmerl performance

[Erlang Questions]

Hi,
    we want to build some applications based on XML messages. But before starting we would like to have some numbers regarding the XML parser's performance.

Does anybody know a benchmark regarding xmerl+xpath? We have been trying to measure the parsing by hand using timer:tc but had some problems...
