epmd death

Kent,

One simple solution is to put it in /etc/inittab:

   ep:234:respawn:/export/home/otpuser/lib/erlang/erts-5.3.6.3/bin/epmd

That way init will be tasked with keeping it running and will restart
it when it dies immediately.
