Link a process from a cnode

Well, in the Erlang/Otp source I've found this file:

  /lib/erl_interface/src/not_used/send_link.c

with the link/unlink implementation and this wonder comment:

  /* FIXME not used? */

And in the /lib/erl_interface/src/README.internal a wonderer comment:

  * src/not_used/
    Strange, some files are not used....

Any problem with this implementation? why is not used?
