Problem building Erlang on HPPA

Hello,

I do not know if someone has managed to make Erlang work on HPPA  
architecture.
It seems that the Debian distribution Erlang maintainer needs help for  
HPPA architecture:

The problem with the build on HPPA is that with this problem, Erlang will  
not be included in the latest Debian version, which is a pity.

I do not have access to HPPA computer but if someone can help this would  
be helpfull for the distribution of Erlang ...
