Unfortunately, this project has not been moving much since
then (some additional work was done, and very little now
remains before one could start testing an FPGA version.)

Perhaps it will spring to life again someday...
(There seems to be reluctance towards releasing hardware
designs as Open Source -- I don't know why.)
