Plan and preparation for R8B-2

We plan to put together a new update release of R8 within a month. If
you have portability patches please send them to me and I will try to
get them all into this release.

If you are a maintainer of Erlang/OTP for an operating system (like
FreeBSD and NetBSD ports collection) and want an earlier snapshot to
create your patches against, please let me know,
