building r7b-2 on solaris

greetings,

when doing
./configure
gmake
on a solaris machine i get the error message

make[2]: sparc-sun-solaris2.7/Makefile: no such file or directory

which is true, there is no sparc-sun-solaris2.7 directory. this
directory (with Makefile) is expected by $ERL_TOP/make/run_make.mk
(included by $ERL_TOP/erts/emulator/Makefile).

Who/When should have created this directory/file?
