An interesting set of views! I'll see what the man from Rational has to say today. I'm struggling to see how cvs and ilk allow one to take an application off in a couple of experimental directions without taking the main source tree off the rails, and then use the best bits in a clever merge. ClearCase claims to manage this sort of thing quite well..? Sean
