OK, this error came when I tried to compile r6b on Solaris 2.7:

make[3]: *** No rule to make target
`[...]/otp_src_R6B-0/erts/obj.beam/sparc-sun-solaris2.7/sys.o',
needed by
`[...]/otp_src_R6B-0/bin/sparc-sun-solaris2.7/beam'.
Stop.

(too pressed for time to try to figure this one out by myself, but if
anyone has an idea...)
