Thanks for your mail and your patch!  I've slightly rewrote the change 
and incorporated to an existing patch concerning dialyzer, which has not 
yet been added to 'pu'

   git fetch git://github.com/kostis/otp.git dialyzer-fixes

I suggest to the OTP maintainers to use that version instead.
