Hello Dirkjan, Jani and Micheal.

Thanks for the feedback and help with creating the fix.

I think I've come up with a solution that should address all problems 
found, but as before I have no system to test it on so it would be great 
if you could test both with and without --enable-systemd on your 
machines. The extended patch is available on the same branch as before[1].

If something does not work, please send me the erts/config.log together 
with the error report.
