That patch was sent as a mailpatch to the erlang-patches list.
I created the pullrequest as you can see on github, to make sure that 
the patch makes it into our system for monitoring patches, without 
manual labor.

The comments on said patch, has been sent to the mailinglist, and to the 
author.
So all we can do now is wait. Or submit a patch to fix the issues raised 
in said patch. If the original author does nothing for a long time.
