I've noticed another rather odd bug. When the makefile does "depend", the
options -MG and -MM are given the compiler, which are GCC specific as well.
On MIPSpro, the equivalent is -M, and giving it -MG and -MM causes it to
generate dependencies as expected, but also compiles the file (!) and gives
warnings about the intermediate compiler file /tmp/<lengthy tempname>.o not
found. I can't find where the -MM and -MG options are being added. Could
anyone help with that? Everytime I type gmake, it rebuilds a ton of files!
