I second that and there is a bit simpler variant:

Erlang (BEAM) emulator version 5.5.5 [async-threads:0]

Eshell V5.5.5  (abort with ^G)
()1> query.
** 1: syntax error before: '.' **

So I do not see how is it possible to use this atom with no quotes.
