First try: proof of concept



The first part of our application has been completed (management of technical staff timesheets)

Data are stored as simple XML files on the standard filesystem

Result:
High flexibility of the system

The system works correctly but ... performances deteriorate with increasing volumes of transactions (e.g. number of files accessed on the filesystem
